Muhammad Ali – Limited Edition Mixed Media Artwork

This piece is my tribute to Muhammad Ali — not only one of the greatest boxers of all time, but someone whose confidence, character and presence went far beyond boxing.

I created the portrait using a hand-pulled screenprint, combined with painting and a rich gold-leaf background. I wanted to keep the image strong and quite simple, with Ali in his classic boxing stance taking centre stage.

The artwork is created by hand, so the small variations and textures that come from the screenprinting and painting process are all part of the finished piece. I also hand-finished the frame to continue the black and gold throughout the artwork.
